Set the Currency Name

Choose the name players see for your community's Helios currency.

Choose a currency name such as Coins, Bolts, or Scrap. It is shared across your Discord community's Helios economy, shop, rewards, and balances.

This changes the name, not the value of players' money. It does not reset balances, change shop prices, or give players a Rust item. Calling it Scrap does not turn the balance into in-game scrap.

From the dashboard

  1. Open Manage Server → Overview.
  2. Find Currency Name under Shared Helios systems.
  3. Choose Edit currency name, enter the name, then choose Save.

The testing community's existing name is shown. No change was saved for this screenshot.

From Discord

You need Manage Server permission.

/set currency name:Scrap

There is no game-server or player option: the name applies to the whole Discord community. Use a short, recognizable name so prices and balance messages are easy to read.

After saving, open a fresh shop or balance view. An old Discord message is a snapshot and may still show the old name; it does not mean the change failed.

For payouts, cooldowns and starting amounts, see Economy Settings. To change a player's actual balance, see Set Player Balances.
