Staff Permissions

Overview

/set mod-roles lets trusted staff use Helios moderator commands without giving them the Discord Manage Server permission. Each moderator role gets its own command list — you choose exactly which commands every role is allowed to run.

Setup

1. Run /set mod-roles.
2. Click Add Role to add a Moderator Role.

• This can be any role, only assign it to trusted moderators

3. Remove an added Moderator Role with the Remove Role Button

Set Commands Per Role

New moderator roles start with no command access. Enable commands for each role:

1. Click Set Commands on the /set mod-roles panel.
2. Pick the moderator role to configure.
3. Click a command to toggle it — green = allowed. Changes apply immediately.

Commands You Can Enable

Command Group	What The Role Can Do
/auto	Manage auto events, auto messages, auto countdowns, and auto giveaways
/player	Player links, lookups, logs, and unbans
/portal	Portal TP and Portal Deathmatch
/orp	Offline Raid Protection tools
/tempban	Temp-ban players from the game, ORP, or TP Home
/cmd	Saved commands and command groups
/give	Give XP, kits, money, and bag items
/take	Take XP and money
/level	Manage battle pass reward levels

Requirements

• Manage Server permission for admins setting up mod roles

Commands

Command	Purpose
/set mod-roles	Opens the mod roles admin panel.

Notes

• New roles have no commands allowed until you enable them with Set Commands — if a moderator gets a "permission" error, check their role's command list.
• Users with Manage Server can always run these commands; mod-role limits never restrict them.
• Premium-gated subcommands (like /give money) still require premium even when the command group is enabled for a role.
